3 Rental Coverage Options

CHOOSE FROM 3 COVERAGE OPTIONS (RENTAL REQUIREMENT)

You must have one of the following coverage options in place before renting.

Option 1 (CONVENIENCE)  Our Built In Coverage

We will default to proceed with coverage we will provide on your behalf if you do not have your own coverage.

Coverage you obtain on your own must be valid for rental use and your intended use. Please note that rideshare / delivery use require compatible coverage.

If you obtain your own rental coverage your two options are below.

Option 2 (MOST COST EFFICIENT) — Use Your Own Insurance (Recommended)

Use your personal full coverage policy.

Requirements:

  • Liability, Comprehensive, and Collision coverage
  • Must be valid for rental use
  • Rideshare/delivery endorsement recommended if applicable

You must provide:

  • Full declaration (multi-page document — not ID card)
  • Coverage must list:

as Lienholder / Loss Payee / Interested Party

We will verify coverage with your insurance provider.

Once approved, we will provide the VIN so you can add the vehicle to your policy.

Many renters find this option to be the most cost-effective.

Option 3 (FLEXIBILITY) — Use Your Credit Card Rental Coverage [AMEX/Chase]

Some credit cards offer rental damage coverage (e.g., AMEX, Chase, Capital One).

Important:

  • Coverage must be verified and approved before use
  • Many credit card policies:
  • Cover damage or theft only
  • Do not cover rideshare or commercial use
  • May require an existing personal insurance policy

If selecting this option, you must:

  • Confirm coverage with your card provider
  • Provide documentation for approval

This option is not accepted unless fully verified.

Important Notes

  • Coverage must remain active for the entire rental period
  • Failure to maintain coverage may result in:
    • Service interruption
    • Vehicle disablement
    • Additional charges

DOCUMENT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All required documents must be submitted for approval before pickup.

Returning private renters may not be required to resubmit certain documents if they are not expired.

1. If using your own insurance / Credit Card Rental Coverage: Proof of Insurance

If you opt out of us obtaining coverage for you and you obtain coverage on your own, you must provide:

  • Full declarations page (PDF — not ID card)
  • Proof of payment:
    • Monthly receipt (traditional insurance providers)
    • Weekly receipt (third-party or rental coverage providers)

2. If Your DL is Out of State: Proof of Current Mailing Address or if the Approval Team Needs it for Verification

Provide one of the following documents showing your name and address:

  • Signed lease
  • Utility bill (water, electric, internet)
  • Bank statement

3. Proof of Rideshare / Delivery Activity (If Applicable)

If you plan to use the vehicle for rideshare or delivery, you must submit proof of an active account.

Photo/Video Requirements (Video is optional):

Text a photo or Record a short screen recording (1 minute or less per clip) showing:

  • Opening your Uber, Lyft, or DoorDash app
  • Your name
  • Your profile photo
  • Your ratings and metrics
  • Your earnings (if available)

Multiple clips are allowed.

RIDESHARE & DELIVERY DRIVER INSURANCE INFO

At Bezzemi Luxury, many of our renters use our vehicles for rideshare, delivery, and courier work. We believe drivers should understand exactly what is included before renting.

WHAT COVERAGE DOES BEZZEMI LUXURY PROVIDE?

• Our fleet maintains commercial liability coverage.
• Collision coverage is purchased for renters [who do not wish to use their own insurance or do not have insurance] through our coverage provider after payment is received.
• Coverage is subject to all applicable policy terms, exclusions, deductibles, and provider requirements.

WHAT COVERAGE DOES BEZZEMI LUXURY NOT PROVIDE?

• We do not provide a personal auto insurance policy to renters.
• We do not provide legal advice regarding insurance requirements.
• We cannot guarantee coverage for every situation, claim, or platform activity, as coverage determinations are made by the applicable coverage provider(s).

WHAT IF I PLAN TO DRIVE FOR UBER, LYFT, DOORDASH, SPARK, INSTACART, OR OTHER GIG APPS?

Gig-driving platforms have their own onboarding requirements and may request vehicle and coverage documentation before activating a driver account.

To assist renters, Bezzemi Luxury may provide certain documentation that some platforms request during the onboarding process.

Platform approval, account activation, and continued access are determined solely by the platform and may change at any time.

Bezzemi Luxury is not liable for renters' app account determinations.

WHAT COVERAGE COMES FROM THE RIDESHARE OR DELIVERY PLATFORM?

Each platform maintains its own policies, requirements, and coverage programs. Drivers should review the terms and coverage information provided directly by the platform they intend to use.

Bezzemi Luxury cannot interpret, modify, or guarantee any coverage offered by third-party platforms.

SHOULD I OBTAIN MY OWN INSURANCE?

Yes. We strongly encourage all rideshare and delivery drivers to maintain their own insurance policy and consult with their insurance provider regarding rideshare endorsements, liability coverage, collision coverage, and any other protections appropriate for their individual circumstances.

Many professional gig drivers choose to carry their own insurance for additional peace of mind while working.

DISCOUNTED RATE FOR SELF-INSURED DRIVERS

Drivers who provide proof of their own active insurance coverage, including:

• Liability Coverage
• Collision Coverage
• Rideshare Endorsement (if applicable)

may qualify for our discounted self-insured driver rate.

Standard Rate:
• $89/day
• $623/week

Self-Insured Driver Rate:
• $79/day
• $553/week

Proof of coverage must be reviewed and approved by Bezzemi Luxury before discounted pricing can be applied.

WHAT DOCUMENTATION WILL I RECEIVE?

Depending on your situation, Bezzemi Luxury may provide documentation to assist with vehicle verification or platform onboarding requirements.

Because platform requirements can change without notice, drivers remain responsible for ensuring they meet the requirements of any platform they choose to use.
